About this Site

My name is Liza Gosselin and I am a freshman at Boston University studying Elementary and Special Education, Physical Education, and Environmental Science. This website is designed for Mrs. O'Neill's first grade class at Harrington Elementary School in Lexington, MA; they are studying how plants grow. The goals of this site are as follows:

• students will understand the germination process;
• students will recognize different types of plants;
• students will look at the different parts of a seed; and
• students will understand why plants are important to human beings and the environment.
